NeTEx project

NeTEx (Timetable Exchange Network) is a project funded by the European Union through the CEN (European Committee for Standardization) in order to develop regulatory activities within EPTIS systems (Electronic Passenger Transport Information Systems) that allow public transport users to receive proper and timely information about arrivals stop, rates, etc.

The project's activities are therefore focused on Technical Specifications drafting of the exchange protocol NeTEx (Timetable Exchange Network), able to exchange Public Transport Network topology, scheduled timetables and fare information.

The project team, composed of experts from all over Europe, is led by 5T in the role of Project Leader.
